Lucas wanted a painting of Spiderman for his birthday---so I painted a Marvel Masterpiece card by Joe Kuburt ( I believe). I think it turned out pretty nicely considering it's my first acrylic and that darn Winsor Newton Finity paint dries so fast!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Yeah, acrylic is a tricky medium to handle. It really needs a lot of planning but you've handled this really well. I only really see a couple of problems; his hands and the shape of the head are a little bit off.
