Lucas wanted a painting of Spiderman for his birthday---so I painted a Marvel Masterpiece card by Joe Kuburt ( I believe). I think it turned out pretty nicely considering it's my first acrylic and that darn Winsor Newton Finity paint dries so fast!

Awesome, this is sweet. Although I am biased by being a big Spidey fan. But the artwork is great too. :D (Big Grin)

I think I remember that card you're talking of. I might have it in the attic somewhere... hmmm.....

Wow, I love it!!! I like the interesting texture that the illustration board gives. Shading and highlights are just excellent... let's see... what else can I say here. Proportions are great too. I like the eyes particularly. good schtuff.
